Beginning September 2011 Surfside Inn Resort will start the extensive interior and exterior improvements that will require a complete closure of the resort through next summer before its scheduled re-opening prior to Labor Day 2012

Surfside Inn Resort has long been a favorite destination and like any other coastal properties regular maintenance and major renovations must be planned and scheduled.

While it is difficult to shut down for a length of time the improvements are something we are excited about.

Among the major exterior improvements will be all new siding, unit decks, windows, doors, corridors, stairs and handrails, along with new exterior lighting, clam cleaning stations, and a new vestibule.

In addition of the exterior improvements we are doing some wonderful interior improvements. We are expanding the lobby area adding a very inviting check-in desk, elevator, guest lounge with fireplace, a business center, vending area, guest laundry, commercial resort laundry area and new boiler room replacing electric for gas.

The exterior and interior of the pool building will be renovated as well and we will be adding an exercise room.
